B Bar is a bar, located within Red Carnations "41" - a leading five star hotel in Victoria.

The directors of Red Carnation Hotels required an EPOS solution that would allow full table management for a waiter service operation, in both the bar and restaurant, together with the ability for hotel guests to be able to charge bills to their rooms. The brief also included a requirement for contemporary styling of the EPOS hardware in order to compliment the design of B Bar.

The introduction of five myPOS Standard Terminals in four separate locations around B Bar met with the requirement for the contemporary styling of the EPOS hardware. The five myPOS terminals were all networked back to a back office PC server which in turn was linked to a kitchen prep printer. Running on the back office PC server, a full table management application was enabled, allowing staff to access, add to, edit or move any bar or restaurant account from any terminal.

Through the use of the modular myPOS software, an export facility was set up, that enabled hotel guests and management to charge bar and restaurant bills to room accounts and export data to FNB Shop.

Following the successes of the myPOS system in B Bar, terminals were then installed in Summer Lodge and the Acorn Inn in Evershot, Dorset.
