Love it, loathe it or indifferent to it. Whatever your views, we're remaining apolitical on the subject..... However, the € Euro is a reality on the continent and can be accepted in the United Kingdom. Naturally, myPOS EPOS Systems are € Euro compliant and therefore "future proofed" for whatever lays around the corner. We currently have myPOS clients who are already accepting payment in both £ Stirling and € Euro's. Within the myPOS back office, an exchange rate is entered and when € Euro's are tendered for payment, a currency button on the touchscreen automatically works out the £ Stirling change due. myPOS clients even have the option to turn on a "for your information" function on the receipt print, that details what the cost would have been in € Euro's. For businesses, considering accepting Euro's, we have detailed the notes and coins in circulation. |
