We have developed a myPOS Enterprise Solution to connect all 23 stores of the Sussex based bakery, via ADSL to the Forfars head office in Brighton. Using a combination of Crossbow 820 and Sarissa 860 terminals, all data with regard to sales, products, stock and employees is transmitted through the internet.

The data is then collated on the head office server intranet, which generates an in house set of web pages that shows members of the senior management team key sales data, including sales by each store with comparisons to the previous day, week, last week and the same day last week.

We have also developed the Forfars intranet with links to IP cameras in several stores to allow for real time viewing of staff and customers and 2008 will see the introduction of integrated Chip + PIN.
