myPOS7 normally installs updates automatically with just one click. Third party programs, or prerequisites, are installed automatically.


If for some reason you are manually installing myPOS7, please download and run:

For Clients

  • SQL Compact – Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 1 and Synchronization Services for ADO.NET version 1.0 Service Pack 1 for Windows Desktop

  • .NET Framework – Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

  • POS For .NET – Microsoft Point of Service for .NET v1.12

  • Report Viewer – Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2008



    • For Servers

  • SQL Server – Microsoft SQL Server. 2008 or greater is required for reports, 2005 may be used without reports. Sorry! myPOS7 does not run on less than 2005
